Expected Results:1) Support cost accounting, financial analysis, and management reporting requirements of the business to evaluate key performance measurements.2) Pursue and deliver new ideas to assist in profitability / cost and operational improvements.3) Assist with the month end close and management reporting process to ensure accurate financial reporting.Supporting Activities:Actual responsibilities will vary with the skills and qualifications of the applicant, but may include:? Develop an understanding of product costing, including required maintenance of the product costing system and the annual standard setting process.? Monitor daily work order activity for all manufacturing sites. Investigate and reconcile any work order variances falling outside a pre-determined tolerance range.? Develop and administer an inventory cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy.? Monitor and maintain accuracy of general ledger inventory balances.? Develop and publish monthly product cost reporting.? Analysis of product and customer profitability.? Assist with the month end close and management reporting process.? Preparation of the annual budget and period forecasts.? Analysis of results to identify opportunities for profitability/cost improvement.? Participation in cross-functional project teams.? Participation in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.Required Prior Accomplishments, Experience, Skills:? Undergraduate degree in Accounting and / or Finance? 5-10 years of cost accounting and / or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.? Ability to use applicable financial and in-house software to do needed analysis and report generation required to support management and decision-making activities.? Experience that demonstrates an ability to work well with a variety of internal customers, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, an ability to respond quickly to changing priorities, and a desire to progress in the organization.? Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP Systems (such as Tektura) is a plus.? 10-20% of time will involve travel to other manufacturing locations.All offers of employment are contingent on a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
