Customer Service Representative

The CSR communicates with customers and various departments within the organization to process orders, monitor inventory, follow up to verify on time delivery and customer satisfaction.  The CSR acts as a liason between the customer and GPI employees to process requests and resolve complaints.  The CSR processes orders and changes in the IQMS system, handles requests for quotes for new parts, monitors customer inventory levels and manages blanket orders to maximize on-time delivery.  Coordinates samples and product approvals for customers. 

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivilant plus 2-4 years previous customer service experience, preferrably in a manufacturing environment.  We work in a MicroSoft windows environment.  A background in MS Word, generating tables and charts using Excel, and processing orders using an ERP system is desirable.
