Buyers-Manufacturing Call (262) 792-1323Description: Our customer is internationally known and is seeking a buyer that is comfortable working independently or in a team setting. The person will be working in an environment that will require them to work with other departments and various levels of the organization. Demonstrated experience with international and domestic vendors and customers. Responsibilities Of Position:-Develop and lead strategies that drive improvements in customer satisfaction, compliance and cost benefits.-Ensure materials and services for plant meet quality, delivery and cost goals.-Prepare purchase orders, requests for proposals, bids and other necessary documents related to the purchasing of supplies, equipment, services and materials. -Request quotes and bids for production material and prepare summary and comparison documentation. -Participate in teams to implement cost, quality, and delivery strategies.-Utilize supplier-rating system as a tool for assessing suppliers and on-going supplier activities. May require supplier visits as needed.Requirements:BS with 2-4 years of demonstrated experience. MS Office. Steady history.
