ABAP Development Lead
Description:This individual will be responsible for design, development, support and maintenance of the organization's SAP "to be" deployed and deployed application. Position calls for this individual to act as a lead to the ABAP developers and work closely with cross functional resources to ensure proper solution design and integrity of SAP modules. Also the Individual will apply proven communication, analytical, technical and problem solving skills to help maximize the benefit of SAP in the company. This will be accomplished by following a formal SDLC and change control process and using industry best practices to ensure well documented, re-usable components.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in a related field.5-8 year's of experience with SAP and ABAP development.Proficient at understanding functional specifications and writing technical specifications for required ABAP development objects.Strong technical skills in all areas of the ABAP Workbench.Experience with ABAP, iDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and Workflows.Experience with SAP for designing and developing Forms, Reports, Enhancements and Workflows.Strong system knowledge of SAP (ECC and CRM a plus)The ability to adhere to strict development standards and conduct code reviews.Ability to propose alternate development solutions and communicate pros and cons.Ability to mentor other developers and consultants on the team.Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Must have strong problem solving skills and be able to work independently and manage a variety of tasks.Must be comfortable with a fast paced working environment, delivering to tight deadlines and working effectively in a team.
