Processing Geophysicists

NAEVA Geophysics, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals for several entry level positions at our Charlottesville, VA office as Processing Geophysicists.  Successful applicants must have a minimum of a B.S degree in geophysics or degree in geology or related earth sciences field with a geophysics emphasis.  Work is primarily focused on environmental assessment and remediation of government properties.  Geophysical methodologies will include electromagnetics (TDEM and FDEM), magnetics, ground penetrating radar (GPR), seismic, gravity, and resistivity.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, application of data corrections, interpretation and analysis of geophysical data for subsurface anomalous features and preparation of presentation quality geophysical maps.  Training will be provided.  Limited travel may be required.  Familiarity with geophysical field, processing and interpretation practices and associated computer applications is preferred.  Strong computer skills are required and past experience with software such as OasisMontaj, AutoCAD and ArcGIS is beneficial.  You must be a US or Canadian citizen, have permanent residency status, or be otherwise legally employable in the US.
