General/Other: IT/Software Development Industry Management Consulting Services Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code 15926.749738.55694 Responsibilities: Reads/interprets mechanical drawings, schematics, printouts, specifications and test procedures. Performs tests to determine the functionality of mechanical or computer equipment. May participate in basic design and analysis via computer-aided design. Ensure instruments are calibrated and verified on a regular basis. Participates with engineers in the testing, debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment and products. Creates new test programs/procedures as needed for new technologies. Core: Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks. Thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution and independent judgment. Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instructions on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments. Business Specific Requirements: Execute testing and coordinate related activities: - Setup, monitor, and maintain units in test; follow maintenance and troubleshooting procedures- Complete reworks/upgrades when requested; update test scripts as needed - Enter test data, report findings, clearly describe problems to engineers and other personnel on a routine basis - Verify defects are entered correctly, appropriately tracked and escalated - Train new personnel on basic operations- Ensure that all work carried out conforms to safety and housekeeping requirements - Must be able to work under different environmental conditions (i.e., temperatures between 15-35 degrees Celsius, humidity changes between 10-80%) where mechanisms are tested. - Can lift up to 50 lbs., can push carts full of 50 lb boxes and can move a filled 55 gal. Paper bin - 2 year degree in electronics or equivalent minimum - Must have WA electrical certification.
