Job DescriptionLead functional consultant (module lead or project lead) for global Deltek Costpoint implementations. Strong business insight and multiple and increasing responsibility for Deltek Costpoint implementations – with a proven track record and passion for success. Knowledge of Deltek configuration and implementation methodologies and strong process or industry knowledge. Excellent organizational, qualitative and analytical skills as well as the ability to apply a creative approach to problem solving. Ability to learn on the fly, multi-task and deal with ambiguity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a strong technical and business applications aptitude are necessary. Responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle from initiation through post-production evaluation. This includes coordinating project teams, facilitating team meetings, complying with PMO standards for documentation, risk management, project management, data conversion, training and communications. This requires establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers including various levels of staff and management. Work on complex projects where situations require strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional, dynamic team environment.
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBig 4 consulting experience a plus. Multiple Deltek Costpoint implementations with increasing complexity and responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a strong technical and business applications aptitude are necessary. Proven project management skills including communication, facilitation and negotiation required. Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project skills required. Financial services experience a plus.
Education and CertificationsBachelor's degree five or more years experience in consulting or telecommunications. Advanced degrees and professional certifications a plus. Professional certifications and advanced degrees (MBA, PMP, CPA certifications) preferred.
