JOB SUMMARY

Excellent entry level administrative support opportunities available in mailroom at our client's (Boeing) site in Everett & Kent, WA. Primary job function is to perform daily mail center operational activities such and shipping and receiving and providing of related support.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma and one year of work previous experience. Previous experience in mail services, shipping & receiving or contract security management industry a plus.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Sort all incoming US mail

2. Process all outgoing US mail

3. Process all outgoing UPS, FED-EX, and any other overnight delivery service

4. Shipping and receiving of all incoming parcels

5. Ensure appropriate handling of all classified mail

6. Use the client's (Boeing) computer to look-up unidentified mail. Route accordingly.

7. Operate various courier computers

8. Provide communication with customers and provide timely responses to their needs

9. Ensure security procedures and requirements are consistently applied and enforced

11. Identify and respond to suspicious packages

10. Perform additional duties as directed

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. At least 18 years of age

2. High school diploma or GED

3. Must be a U.S. Citizen

4. Must have a valid WA Drivers License

5. Must be able to obtain pass background required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

6. Ability to successfully complete criminal background check and drug screening

7. Basic computer skills

8. Strong customer service skills

9. Solid verbal and written communication skills

10. Ability manage multiple priorities

11. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
