EII is seeking an Information Integration Consultant located in Huntsville, AL.  The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the basic principles behind Business Process Analysis and Design and the alignment of enterprise systems with business processes.

 The Information Integration Consultant has proven experience in Information and Data Integration, specializing in enterprise data management products and the modern tools and methodologies that enable Enterprise Information Integration.  Applications for this position must have a strong commitment to working independently and must be willing to travel to complete project tasking.

 

Position Summary:

 

This position is related to the data and process management aspects of enterprise software implementations, including Enterprise Information Integration. Representative experience that may be required for this position could include data quality management, data migration, business intelligence and Data Lifecycle Management.

 

Essential Duties:

  Help design and implement data and information integration solutions. Implement best practices as they relate to data integration, governance and data quality management.

 

Required Experience:

  2+ years of information technology or consulting experience

 

Required Knowledge/Skills:

  Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Technical skills in building and/or designing solutions that include data integration technologies such as ETL (e.g., IBM/Ascential, Informatica, etc) database query and reporting platforms, and other technologies that relate to the implementation of data quality solutions. Experience with database design and modeling using tools such as Embarcadero ER Studio or CA ER-Win; UML or ARIS modeling experience is a plus. Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, including a working knowledge of SQL, query and database performance tuning and developer level database administration. Experience working with enterprise software such as products from SAP or Oracle a plus. Experience with Business Intelligence products from vendors such as Business Objects, Cognos, SAP, and Oracle a plus.



Educational Requirements:

  BS degree in Information Systems or related field MS degree and 1 year of experience
