Director of Quality Assurance

MPE Inc has experienced strong growth over our 30 years in business by providing highly engineered custom products to keep pace with the ever-changing technology of the medical and electronics equipment industries of our customers. We offer state-of-the art manufacturing processes from sheet metal fabrication, welding, powdercoating and final assembly of our products.  We employ approximately 150 employees in Milwaukee and 50 in our satellite plant in Mexico and are continuing to grow.

If you've answered "yes" to the questions above, MPE Inc is interested in considering you for our next Director of Quality Assurance. We are looking for a leader to align our quality initiatives with our long-term business goals.  This position is a highly visible position within our organization and works closely with our Executive team and our global OEM customers to meet and exceed their product expectations.

Responsibilities include providing vision and leadership to our Quality team by implementing and maintaining processes to deliver quality products on a timely basis while maintaining our competitive edge. This position is expected to represent the company in a strong, confident manner while interfacing with our key customers and overseeing all audits related to quality including: various customer audits, ISO recertifications and internal audits.

The ideal candidate will have been strongly involved in implementing continuous improvement programs in Quality, be a strong team builder and have a collaborative approach to resolving problems.  Bachelor degree in a related field and at least 5 -7 years in a Quality leadership role is preferred.
