The San Antonio, TX office of the American Diabetes Association is seeking a mature and motivated individual to assist the special events team by providing administrative, program and office management support as well as working on special projects.Specific duties include: -Manage fulfillment of materials to participants in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes and  Diabetes Expo-Serve as first contact for participants in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes-Represent ADA at events including Step Out, Tour de Cure, Galas and Health Fairs-Supervise interns and volunteers to complete projects-Outbound calls to recruit past and new participants for events-Process accounts receivable and accounts payable -Support donor recognition programs Other duties include: drafting general correspondence, invoicing and tracking vendor payments, maintaining data integrity, processing income, expenses and budgets.

* Associate's degree or equivalent experience * At least two years working knowledge of MS Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Experience in customer service * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, time limited environment * Experience using oracle or some other financial management system a plus* Experience handling the inventory and ordering for office supplies a plus* Experience handling correspondence with vendors a plus.
