Special Counsel is actively staffing a Temporary Attorney position for one of the nation’s largest and strongest financial holding companies with offices in Richmond, VA.Qualified Licensed Attorney will have experience in and knowledge of Debt Collection Acts and Bankruptcy Legislation including but not limited to:  - Default/Loss Mitigation Protocols   - Negotiations between Debtors and Creditors   - Reorganization of Debts under Chapters 11 and 13   - Liquidation under Chapter 7   - REO and Foreclosure ProceedingsAdditionally, ideal candidates should be well versed in the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, State Financial Statutes and the US Code as well as recent litigation passed regarding them.Qualified candidates must submit their resume in MS Word format to Elizabeth Coleman at elizabeth.coleman@specialcounsel.com .Special Counsel offers a competitive benefits package with health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday and vacation pay and direct deposit.
