QA Assistant

I have a great opportunity in QA for someone who has strong attention to detail.  In this position you will assist the QA team in QA processes working with data conversion.  You must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.  Please see the job responsibilities below.Responsibilities: 1. Build, Create, Read and Utilize SQL and Access 2. Perform troubleshooting on processes for court and Eserve projects, and assist key firms, court customers and internal staff with issues. 3. Process Subsequent Loading Projects and all processes as assigned by week/month, and work to learn new processes as assigned to you for transition 4. Create and process large batch jobs. 5. Maintain scheduled tasks as well as providing reports for other departments and customers as needed. 6. Create and maintain documentation of processes or procedures. 7. Ability to work as a team in testing, reviewing, and collaboration on updating and renewing processes. 8. Ability to provide innovative ideas and solutions for automation, processing. 9. Willing to perform manual processing as needed as well as automation of processes. 10. Ongoing Development of system knowledge (File & Serve product) re: how File & Serve is utilized by users, and how to appropriately utilize Court Profile settings, etc. 11. Update Court Profile settings, Prep Data for loading a new jurisdiction for efiling and all prep work required in launching a new court (verification forms, email lists, etc.) 12. Work collectively to own tracking of bugs in system, and document as soon as found, and route through appropriate person identified to report and resolve 13. Continue Development understanding of backend tables and how to correctly manipulate them in most effective expedient way possible. 14. Ensure all data standards are met by running Checks on rotation basis after hours. 15. Make sure all processes go thru a defined method of QA wherein we have followed guidelines to check certain aspects of the query for accuracy. 16. Process site requests from customers for online subscribers, and Case & Party Management queues. 17. Routing duties to team on Webstar issue tickets and owning percentage of issues evenly across team and owning to resolution. Qualifications 1. BA/BS or equivalent work experience. 2. Strong analytical and organizational skills. 3. Strong Excel & Access skills with willingness to learn SQL 4. General PC & Network technical knowledge. 5. SQL Database knowledge that includes some understanding of architecture. 6. Technical writing skills or ability to detail processes and procedures. 7. Attention to detail, organization, high rate of accuracy, and ability to self-motivate extremely important. 3. Knowledge of law office, court processes and requirements a plus.
