INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PATENT PROSECUTION LEGAL SECRETARY

Are you an experienced Intellectual Property Legal Secretary with heavy Patent Prosecution experience?  Do you want your next opportunity to be with a major law firm?  If so, please read on!



 This patent prosecution legal secretary will support 2-3 prosecution attorneys in this very busy IP Department.

  As an IP Practice Assistant (Legal Secretary), you will have knowledge of and stay current with USPTO prosecution requirements.  Duties are:  maintain the docket for the prosecution attorneys; prepare and forward client reporting letters; prepare drafts of each response due to the USPTO, including opening and closing language and at least a scan of rejections in an Office Action; prepare general correspondence, reports, memoranda and material of a general nature and documents specific to the practice area; responsible for firm-related administrative items for the attorneys (e.g., travel arrangements, expense reports, billing, etc.)

 The successful candidate will have an Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.  Computer software to include Word, Styles and PowerPoint and Excel is a plus!  CPI Database experience is preferred.

 Our client is seeking 5-10 yrs. experience with prosecution related experience to work for these great attorneys!  Salary $58,000-68,000 depending upon experience.  (Now doesn't that sound terrific!)
