Case Assistant
National law firm has an opening for a full-time case assistant in its Houston/Galleria office. Responsibilities include filing (administrative and litigation case files, accounting billing files); document coding and bates labeling; data entry; organizing and sending closed files off-site; word processing; assisting with preparation for client meetings, hearings, trial, arbitration and mediation; and receptionist relief.
Qualifications include:
Strong organizational and communication skills.Computer skills, particularly experience with a Word, Excel, PowerPoint and I-Manage a plus.Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.Preferred areas of work experience include office, clerical and/or customer service.Law firm experience preferred.Ability to juggle multiple projects and respond quickly to changing priorities.
