Site Merchandiser, Jewelry and Watches Amazon.com is looking for an enthusiastic, creative site merchandiser to help build and grow our Fine Jewelry & Watch business by using innovative merchandising techniques and providing compelling content and product information. The site merchandiser also will work to drive overall improvement in the look, feel and navigation of the stores, and will help drive projects and initiatives to improve the shopping experience. To this end, the successful candidate will work with internal and external resources to: Drive traffic internally and externally to both Amazon’s Jewelry & Watch stores. Coordinate and manage external resources to provide thorough and authoritative detail page content Plan, develop and execute compelling e-mails Analyze results of merchandising and traffic driving efforts Work closely with the retail and 3p teams to optimize promotional efforts and present a unified storefront to the customer Effectively merchandise products both within the Jewelry & Watch stores and across the Amazon.com platform, and analyze and report on the effectiveness of those efforts Work closely with other internal teams to create site-wide promotional campaigns Build customer-friendly navigation of the store Help drive the challenge of merchandising products that require accurate, detailed information to gain customer trustTechnical requirements include basic HTML, Excel, basic Office skills, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly. The merchandiser will be detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, dedicated to improving customer experience, and comfortable working with teams, vendors, and management. Besides having first-class written and verbal communication skills, this site merchandiser will be able to ruthlessly prioritize to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience with online merchandising; will have a healthy appetite for the Jewelry & Watch industry; will be innovative, internally motivated, self-directed; and willing to help buyers and planners synthesize business objectives into rapidly and flawlessly executed top-notch online merchandising. Retail experience a plus.
