Senior Business Development Manager, Associates Are you interested in negotiating relationships with some of the Internet’s largest websites so as to drive significant traffic and new customers to Amazon? If so, the Associates team is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive this objective. The role requires identifying, engaging, negotiating, and signing large partners to our Associates program. Landing new affiliate partners fuels Amazon’s Associates business by expanding its reach across the Internet and driving traffic, sales, and new customers to the Amazon web site. Owning the functional & strategic aspects of the recruiting effort, including management of the end-to-end sales process Developing new business relationships with large Associate prospects, driving the negotiation process, working with legal to iron out contract issues, and closing the deal Owning the continual enhancement of partner-specific solutions that leverage Amazon data feeds, Amazon Web Services, and other Associate-specific tools. Accountability for quarterly revenue objectives Identifying new channel opportunities. This involves assessing the opportunity through market research and working across functional (internal) groups to problem solve, solidify resources, & garner support to then structure the deal in the best manner possible
