Job Description PDS Administrator Burns & McDonnell has an exciting opportunity in our Houston office in our IT department for a PDS Administrator.  This position is responsible for setting up and maintaining PDS project configurations.  Duties will include: project creation, setting up seed files, design areas, PDS specs, model creation, reference data base, piping and equipment modeling, interference checking, EDEN, physical data libraries, ISOGEN, drawing manager, reports, archival and retrieval of individual models as well as entire Projects. Other duties include guiding the day to day modeling activities for a project, trouble shooting and training designers in PDS modeling in accordance with Project Requirements. Other duties as assigned.Qualified candidates will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field along with a minimum of ten years of experience in PDS, with more than five years experience working as a PDS administrator and/or PDS Spec writer. Individual must be fully conversant with setting up and maintaining a PDS project configuration.  Position requires a working knowledge of Smart Plant Review, RIS, MS Access and Office. Capable of guiding day to day modeling activities, trouble shooting and training designers in PDS modeling in accordance with Project Requirements is mandatory.
