This position will have the key responsibility for ensuring that the billing department's staff is educated in all facets of billing, collections, and customer contracts. Responsible for managing the day to day billing operations ensuring customers are provided the highest degree of accounts receivable cycle management. This position is responsible for the entire billing and collections department, duties include but are not limited to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Plan, execute, budget, monitor performance, and continually improve the Billing Operations including identifying and correcting issues and implementing corrective actions. Establish and implement policies, procedures, and technology solutions used throughout the organization. Maintain customer contract files, ensures client charges post to invoices correctly and invoices are submitted to clients on a timely and in accordance with the contracts. Direct the development of process and monitoring mechanisms to track execution against SLA requirements and drive accountability throughout the organization. Responsible recruiting, training and development of staff. Provide performance feedback and evaluation and career development to the staff on a routine basis. Suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals, recommendations or procedure changes. Develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad group of stakeholders in order to foster trust and influence key decisions.Work closely with sales team, legal, and the finance team to identify potential business issues and offer viable alternatives. Ability to effectively communicate to very different audiences in different functions and geographic locations. Report weekly and monthly key performance indicators in order to identify business trends and needed process improvements.Required Experience
Qualifications: 8 - 10 years relevant billing, collections, and contract administration management experience. B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook is required. Knowledge of Great Plains is a plus. High volume credit card billing operations experience highly preferred. Strong financial management skills and internal control knowledge. Must be service oriented, energetic, willing to 'roll up his/her sleeves' and committed to delivering quantifiable results.
