Sr. IT Business Analyst

We are in the midst of upgrading and increasing our capacity to handle our new volumes. Summary:
* Be a part of the strategic BI Program supporting the development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
* Solid knowledge of Business Analysis, methods and tools
* Strong data analysis skills

Responsibilities:
* Participating in developing estimates for BA tasks
* Completing assigned tasks on multiple large projects, ensuring quality timely delivery
* Work with Business Data Managers to collaborate and coordinate all aspects of requirements
* Assisting BA Lead to ensure a smooth transition from development release to the production environment as needed
* Mentoring other BA's on the team as needed
* Work with diverse set of development staff onshore and offshore.
* Support and promote business intelligence throughout Safeco

Qualifications:
* Effectively communicate w/ higher level business customers
* Experience working on multiple large projects
* Experience working with business customers on developing requirements
* Proven analytical skills and a strong technical aptitude
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong team attitude.
* Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to take appropriate level of risk
* Data Warehousing knowledge a plus
* Reporting Tools knowledge a plus
* Property/Casualty Insurance with Data Warehouse Experience a plus
