Senior Software Engineer (Pega PRPC Administrator)
The Senior Software Engineer analyzes requirements and designs, codes, tests, installs and supports business rule and workflows in Pega as well interfaces between Pega and other systems. We will look to you to develop and support solutions based on the Pega BPM platform with particular focus on administration of the Pega PRPC environment. You will provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to others in areas of acquired expertise. You get to analyze requirements and design solutions for approved projects and change requests of high complexity and risk. Use your expert knowledge to prepare technical design options, consult with hardware and software technicians on options and strategies, and develop, document and present design solutions and alternatives. ·Responsible for the installation and configuration of Pega software.·Responsible for performance monitoring and improvements.·Interface with solution delivery, support and corporate technology teams to ensure availability and performance meet customer expectations.·Third Party System support experience, and a sood understanding of relational data ·Familiarity and commitment to a structured development/project methodology ·Ability to learn and act independently in a complex and time sensitive environment ·Java and or .Net experienceKnowledge as a plus:·Pega or other business rule and workflow appliction knowlegde, ·Insurance knowledge, Cross platform expertise, Project management skills.
