SQL Database Administrator

 Requires:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 3 years hands on experience Responsibilities:· Enforce Corporate security policies · Implement and enforce database security precautions · Implement data engineering standards and advise development team to prevent data corruption · Implement database backup and recovery processes · Routinely test database recovery · Participate in disaster recovery drills · Implement tested and quality assurance approved database changes in production · Analyze root causes of production problems and define permanent solutions · Provide the data needed to do capacity planning · Monitor databases and tuning to maximize performance · Complete projects on-time, within budget, and to the customer's satisfaction· Implement cost reduction actions · Accurately and timely record where labor hours are spent · Focus on root problem resolution to prevent solving the same problem over and over again · Implement and utilize tools to automate routine tasks Location: Seattle, tt 98111 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Company: CIBER, Inc.
