IT is an integrated group of departments whose primary objectives include information, data processing, communications, process enhancements, and systems to support the business and management objectives of Sentry. Forms Development and Publishing provides an interface between Application Programming and the output services of the computer room, mail inserting area, and print shop. It works to improve the printed output process while reducing costs and enhancing user and customer service. The Forms Analyst position: Develops and implements new print applications, forms and systems. Ensures continuous operations of existing print applications and programs. Is responsible for systems maintenance which includes working closely with users to make changes and/or additions to new and existing print applications to increase efficiency. Maintain knowledge of developments within Sentry and the industry in order to effectively create and comply with corporate, federal and state standards for all Electronic Publishing applications. Maintains sensitivity to and follows all system security procedures. Ensures complete and accurate documentation of all new and existing systems. Is familiar with, utilizes and adheres to the project management software and Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project management methodology. Strong communication skills. Will interact with user groups, other Information Technology personnel, and areas outside of Sentry such as software providers and consultants, etc. Adheres to Sentry Information Technology standards and procedures. Utilize Electronic Publishing software to support applications operating under mail stream sorting and/or mail inserter bar coding. Use PCs, mainframe and scanning equipment to produce print shop quality applications. Determine the most appropriate and efficient developmental tool for each application. Works with a high level of proficiency in Electronic Publishing applications to implement upgrades, design, analysis, trouble-shooting, responding to system and application problems, formulating solutions and making appropriate changes to support a specific area of systems responsibility. Stays abreast of new print concepts and technological advances by participating in outside and in-house training programs. Performs other job-related duties requiring the same general knowledge, skills and degree of responsibility commensurate with assigned level. Qualifications Qualifications:2 or more years programming experience or education Strong PC Skills Attention to detail Good organizational skills Flexibility Assertiveness User-oriented attitude Experience with any of the following would be a plus: Docucorp / Documaker XML Scripting Languages GUI Publishing software – including forms/screen design Postal software packages Documerge Elixir Xenos PDF – Adobe Acrobat Microsoft Office Platforms Insurance industry Compensation and Benefits The starting salary may be up to $59,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
