As a Field Property Claims Examiner you will: Use your strong decision-making skills to complete estimates and inspections in the field, investigate residential and commercial property claims, while showcasing your analytical skills to arrange and settle property appraisals and determine coverage Negotiate with contractors and third party vendors to settle claims Utilize your investigative skills to secure information and use your excellent communication skills to educate the insured throughout the claims process If you are ready to let your excellent technical and customer service skills move you forward in a great career, then apply today! Prior work experience in writing estimates and 3+ yrs handling property claims; Bachelors Degree preferred Ability to work independently, possess exceptional time management skills and ability to make sound decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide supervisor customer service to insureds, negotiate with vendors and contractors, and analyze policies Strong proficiency in computers and Estimating software such as Xactimate, knowledge of Sketch highly desired Ability to maintain composure in adverse situations and deal with ambiguity. This position requires a flexible work schedule and travel within the assigned territory. This is a home based position, however, you must reside within the territory. We will consider candidates located between Olympia and Seatac. A company car is provided and you must have a clean driving record. No relocation assistance is provided.
