Position Description:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):* Provide quality service for both phone and written customer inquiries. * Communicate effectively with customers on the telephone and via written correspondence. * Provide product and regulatory information. * Review, analyze and process written requests and documents. * Update and ensure integrity of customer accounts including history. * Ability to learn how to process financial, non-financial, and complex transactions. * Take ownership of calls by summarizing, ensuring appropriate follow-up, and mailing appropriate forms/materials. * Educate customers about IVR and web functionality. * Perform at or above individual quality, productivity and timeliness standards set by the business. * Achieve positive team goals and results by adaptation to varying work schedules, improving through feedback, participating in teams and maintaining strong/ongoing relationships with customers. * Stay abreast of regulatory compliance, product, & procedural changes. * Other projects and duties as assigned. GENERAL:Applicants must be available to work a full time position of 37.5 hours during core hours of 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Basic:High school graduate (college level Math, English or Business courses preferred). * Minimum two years of strong customer service experience. * Solid PC skills; 35 wpm typing. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, listening and written communication skills; bilingual preferred. * Adaptable to a constantly changing. * Above average Math and English skills. * Ability to work well within a team structure to accomplish goals. * Willingness to develop and maintain professional growth. * Ability to work in a high volume/fast paced atmosphere. * Ability to exercise initiative and make sound judgments.Preferred:* Associate or Bachelor's degree. * Proficient in 2nd Language. * Two to four years of insurance industry experience. * Proven customer service experience of 5 or more years Additional Information Reference Code: 81259Status: Full Time, EmployeeJob Category: Customer Support/Client Care Send this Job to a FriendSee all Company opportunities
