Safeco has an exciting opportunity for a customer focused individual to join our Customer Care Claims Team. Our Customer Care Professionals focus on multiple lines of coverage. As a Customer Care Professional, you will:

Take inbound calls from customers, agents, and third parties. Perform initial capture of new claims on multiple lines of coverage and respond to customer service calls to assist policyholders, claimants and other parties in the resolution of their claim. Showcase your analytical skills by researching the policy, coverage and eligibility provisions related to unique circumstances

If you are an individual who has a passion for customer service and have the following qualifications, apply now!
Previous customer service experience is required. Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate with others required. Candidates must be able to successfully complete company sponsored training program. Computer proficiency and experience in a Windows based environment is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new information quickly. Strong communication skills and ability to educate others required. Must be able to interpret existing policy while exercising good judgment and creativity.

This position requires up to 8 weeks of training, Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM, beginning October 27, 2008. We are currently hiring to fill shifts between 5:30AM and 9:30PM seven days a week.
