Casualty Claims Adjuster - Fife

PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company has a rare opportunity for an experienced Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our Fife Claims Department. We are a personal lines carrier highly focused on developing new and long lasting relationships with our customers. We honor responsibility in all we do with and for customers

 

Responsibilities:Investigate and resolve insurance claimsMake and communicate coverage and liability decisionsEvaluate and negotiate bodily injury settlements with attorneys and unrepresented customersDocuments actions, writes letters and maintains computer and paper files

Qualifications:Must have a strong work history, excellent telephone & customer service skillsExceptional organizational, superior verbal and written communications skillsAbility to deal effectively with conflict and stressful situationsMust be a team player, open to change and flexible to meet varying workloadsMust have excellent attention to detailMust be able to work independently and possess strong analytical skillsPC experience (MS Office) and a valid Washington State driver's license and good driving record are required

Preference will be given to candidates who possess prior adjusting experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferable. Insurance education (AIC, SCLA, CPCU, ICAR) is a plus
