WebFOCUS Applications/Portal Developer

Job Summary: This is a position in the Business Intelligence group that's primarily responsible for supporting a custom navigational collapsible/expandable front-end portal resembling the Windows Explorer tree.  This portal uses Javascripts, CSS, DOM, HTML, cookies and WebFOCUS.  Tasks includes creating standard and complex reports using Information Builders WebFOCUS tools that can generate output formats of HTML, PDF and Excel. The job responsibilities include the following types of activities:  Administration of the WebFocus environment Support of both MRE and Self Service applications Quickly diagnose reporting issues and provide support where necessary. Analyze and resolve problems quickly and efficiently Help users leverage existing reporting and analytical tools developed in WebFocus Work with business analysts to aid in transforming business requirements into technology solutions Respond to complex ad hoc requests from all levels of the organization Work with management to prioritize requests and problems Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience 4+ years in an Information Technology role 2+ years of WebFocus/Dialoge Manager experience. 2+ years SQL experience  Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: WebFOCUS Dialogue Manager,ReportCaster,MRE,BID. Strong Java Script/DOM/HTML within Self Service applications.  Ability to work independently. Comfortable dealing with ambiguous and complex reporting requirements.  Experience with Hyperion Essbase a plus. WebFOCUS installation/configuration experience a plus.
