The Director, Innovation will direct large-scale innovation projects requiring wide/cross-functional integration. In this role you will be responsible for developing a business case and defining the project scope. Responsibilities also include: Directing assigned innovation projects from concept to conclusion using the Stage Gate project management system. Establishing, leading, and directing cross-functional project design teams. Overseeing all communications and development of project collateral including training and implementation materials. Presenting project proposal, progress, and results to Cracker Barrel leadership. Overseeing the project testing process. Collaborating with finance/accounting functions to build financial models, estimate returns on investment, complete project budgets, collect and analyze data. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree and 7 - 10 years professional/managerial experience in restaurant/retail management, marketing, product development or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient computer skills (Stage Gate, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Excellent written and oral communication Strong organizational and prioritizing skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent leadership and management skills Strong teamwork and collaborative skills Excellent negotiation and presentation skills Able to initiate change and work autonomously QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Knowledge of Cracker Barrel restaurant operations Experience managing large-scale projects Employment opportunities at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. are open to all qualified applicants solely on the basis of their job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
