Registered Nurse Franklin Clinic, OB/Gyn

Job Description Imagine yourself working with this team…The Franklin Clinic is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our highly collaborative and leading edge environment.

Due to our commitment to shared governance and shared decision-making, the Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of nursing care and the coordination of care for the patient in collaboration with Medical Center staff. They provide work direction to the clinical staff and patient education through patient triage.Imagine yourself… Using the Nursing Process to provide ongoing care (assess, plan, intervention, evaluation), according to the age specific and developmental needs of a patient. Assessing patient, family, and/or significant others educational needs and providing teaching/counseling. Anticipating and recognizing changes in a patient's status and need for care. Integrating health promotion and preventive aspects of care. Providing telephone consultation/triage to patient, family, and/or significant others according to protocol and AMG guidelines.Assuring quality of care through development, implementation, and evaluation of professional nursing standards.Participating in quality assurance activities.

General Qualifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) granted by the State of Wisconsin.CPR certification required within six months of hire date and maintained annually.Verbal and written communication skills are necessary sufficient for effective communication.

Desired Qualifications
Minimum one year of nursing experience with previous clinic experience preferred.
