Radiology Education Clinical Coordinator
Job Description This positionis located in the School of Radiologic Technology.
Imagine yourself...
Overseeing the clinical education and rotation components of the School of Radiography.
Formulating the student clinical rotation schedule and scheduling clinical rotations to correlate with didactic instruction.
Collaborating with the program director on devising and implementing strategies for the monitoring and evaluation of student performance in the clinical setting.
Evaluating effectiveness and equity of all clinical rotations, and assuring appropriate supervision levels in the clinical.
Serving as program liaison, resource, and mentor for each clinical site and for site instructors.
Monitoring the progress in clinical rotations for all enrolled students and reports information to the Supervisor.
Providing feedback to the Supervisor on Clinical Instructor performance at the clinical sites for evaluation purposes.
Assisting the Supervisor in conducting program evaluations and compilation of outcome data.
Promoting the School of Radiologic Technology throughout the community through giving presentations and services.
Delivering classroom instruction of various radiography courses.
The coordinator position home location is 180 W. Grange in Milwaukee. Clinical sites for the school include Aurora St. Luke's, Aurora St. Luke's South Shore, Aurora Sinai, Aurora West Allis and various clinic sites in the greater Milwaukee Area. The Coordinator will probably work an average of two days a week at various sites.
General Qualifications
Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) granted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through two years of progressively responsible, post certification experience as a radiologic technologist, with a minimum of one year of experience, instructing or coordinating clinical education, in a JRCERT accredited school of Radiography.

Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and counseling.
Demonstrated knowledge of adult education and quality improvement principles and strategies
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
