Project Coordinator Lead

Job Description Imagine Yourself... being part of a Strategic Deployment team that focuses on construction projects including new facility deployment as well as renovations. Imagine supporting Aurora's initiatives designed to significantly improve patient care and impact Aurora's Long Term Strategy. Imagine the satisfaction of providing key IT tools to care providers and positively impacting outcomes for our patients.

You will be coordinating various system or large-scale hardware and software deployment. Planning and delivering the project components to support the client's system needs, by interacting with applications development, networking support, site support, and regional management using the Aurora defined hardware and software standards. Developing and monitoring project progression and alert the appropriate individuals on resource requirements and restrictions.

Engaging extensively with senior business leaders, senior IS leaders, key vendor leadership and project teams to determine project objectives, benefits and strategies and an agreed upon set of targets, benchmarks and performance measures.

Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Monitoring performance against those schedules, plans and estimates. Using facilitation, influencing and project management skills to ensure completion within established budgets and deadlines.

Continuously reviewing project deliverables to insure completion of tasks. Recognizing, escalating and communicating in a timely manner to appropriate management by recommending and taking action to creatively derive and implement solutions.

General Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum six (6) years of Information Systems experience demonstrating advanced project management skills and abilities.
Experience in health care industry is preferred.
Computer skills in a Windows MS Office environment. In addition, prior work experience with presentation and/or architecture software, proficient in MS Office.
Demonstrated leadership abilities. Motivate, instruct, guide, assign, advise and lead team members.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to gather, organize and present data.
Strong problem and issue resolution skills.
Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities required through five years of being responsible for large complex projects with a proven record of successful project delivery.
Possess strong Project Management skills. Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project and program management methodologies and tools.
Advanced communication skills both written and verbal in addition to excellent organizational skills.
Key to establishing goals, milestone and priorities, ensuring team members understand work assignments and in communicating project status, risks and issues to management.
Demonstrated ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision. Remains flexible in a dynamic environment working with highly visible, complex, large-scale deployments with multiple demands, multiple dependencies and multiple departments.

Desired Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Possesses a comfort level and willingness to work with all levels of management.
Ability to provide solution functionality and integration expertise to project teams.
Strong interest and desire to participate in special projects.
Establishes and fosters collaborative working relationships internal and external to the team.
Takes the initiative to generate ideas for improvement and solve problems without being asked.
Ability to gather ideas from a variety of perspectives and suggest new ways to apply existing knowledge.
Ability to describe risks with proposed solutions for decision making when needed.
Present content in a logical sequence and in an understandable way.
Presents suggestions and points of view in an appropriate and convincing manner.
Maintains a positive attitude within the department.
