Nursing Assistant

Using your knowledge, experience and creativity to find better ways of providing patient centered care on our beautifully remodeled patient units. This part-time pm shift position is located at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.

Imagine yourself...

Assisting the Registered Nurse with the daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, repositioning, ambulation and feeding.

Measuring and documenting blood pressures, TPR's (temperature, pulse and respirations), I&O (intake and output)and daily weights.

Having the opportunity to learn advanced skills and become a Patient Care Assistant or a Health Unit Coordinator.

General Qualifications

Must have completed a certified nursing assistant program, and be certified by the State of Wisconsin.

Must be CPR certified within 6 months of hire date.

Student nurses may apply for this job if a fundamental nursing course has been successfully completed AND they are currently attending Nursing School.

Desired Qualifications

Experience preferred.
