Medical Receptionist - Orthopedics
Fast paced Orthopedic office looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist driven towards the best practices in customer service and patient care.
Qualifications: Energetic individual with strong phone and personal communication skills. Detail-oriented and well organized. Knowledge of commercial and government insurances, including Medicare Advantage plans is desired. Must be able to work independently and within a team environment. Valid driver's license and reliable registered vehicle required.
Responsibilities: Performing the check in and check out process for patients, including obtaining thorough demographic and insurance information. Scheduling of patient appointments, both for onsite and for ancillary services such as therapy, diagnostic testing, etc. Pre-authorization with insurance companies for services and procedures such as MRI scans and DME. Preparation of patient charts for upcoming appointments accomplished daily as well. Position includes time spent away from reception area to accomplish demographic data entry, as well as assistance with completion of incoming patient information requests. Full-Time - Monday through Friday. First shift. Hours subject to change based on needs of the clinic. Excellent benefits, competitive wages, pleasant working environment.
