Job Description Imagine yourself working with this team…At Aurora Health Care our Medical Assistants work alongside physicians by performing various tasks and assisting with all aspects of patient care including basic lab and screening procedures, as appropriate.Imagine yourself…Performing basic lab and screening procedures.Preparing patients for exams and assisting physicians with exams and procedures.Obtaining and recording vital signs.Organizing and preparing exam rooms, lab, and work areas.Performing EKGs, vision testing, tympanograms, and basic lab procedures including urine collection and drawing of blood samples.Administering IM, SQ, and intradermal injections per physician order.
General Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent required as well as successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent work experience.One year related clinical experience required.Must be CPR certified within six months and maintain annually.Must have verbal and written skills sufficient for effective communication.Must have transportation to work at clinics throughout Metro Milwaukee.
