General requirements :
Qualifications:
• Must have excellent English skills and be fully proficient in at least one other language.
• Must pass Vocalink Interpreter Pre-Screen and Language Assessment (including commonly used medical terminology)
• Must successfully complete VocaLink Training and Orientation

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Neat and professional appearance and demeanor
• Authorization to work in the US
• Cell phone
• Fax/internet connection
Technical requirements :
Candidates must possess vocabulary of commonly used medical terminology in English and the other language(s) worked in.

Candidates must understand the concept of freelance, contract work.

Candidates must reside in or near Columbus, OH.
Candidates should have some experinence with :

Commonly used medical terminology and phrases in English and the other language(s).
Hiring Process:
1. Submit resume/CV via email to karenr@vocalink.net
2. Upon successful resume screening, candidates are contacted for phone interview and medical terminology language assessment in English and all other working languages.
3. Passing of the phone interview and language assessment will result in the candidate being sent a packet of doucments to complete, as well as instructions to obtain a background check, drug screen, updated vaccine records, etc.
4. Completed paperwork, successful background check, drug screen and other items will result in the candidate being invited to Vocalink's Interrpreter Training & Orientation.
