Dental Assistant-School Program

- High school diploma or equivalent is required - Experience is preferred The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing oral health instruction to patients, overall patient flow management and assistance to dental care providers in the School-based Oral Hygiene Program. The Dental Assistant is responsible for sterilization, infection control, equipment and supply management, mobile dental clinic set-up, break-down and daily operation as part of the dental care team. The candidate must have a High School diploma or equivalent for this position. Graduation from an approved Dental Assistant training program is preferred. The candidate must have at least 6 months experience working as part of a Team. Work experience in a health care setting with children is preferred. Travel to the schools is required.
