DIRECTOR PHARMACY*
Froedtert Hospital is a 489-bed premier academic medical center affiliated with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Our campus lies on the western edge of Milwaukee, where we provide Adult Level I Trauma Care to eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
This position oversees all pharmacy services on the campus of a progressive, and rapidly expanding academic center. Responsible for overseeing the design and operation of the medication use system within the hospital, affiliated ambulatory clinics, and three retail pharmacies. Additional responsibilities include administrative, financial, strategic planning, clinical, human resources, drug policy, medication safety, academic, research and quality improvement activities for both inpatient and ambulatory pharmacy services. This position provides a strategic plan and vision for the clinical initiatives as well as the financial direction of the pharmacy department.
The Pharmacy Department, a recipient of a 2007 ASHP Best Practice Award, has the following to offer an experienced Director of Pharmacy candidate:

Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred: Pharm.D. with residency (Master's degree with specialty preferred), 5-7 years prior academic center supervisory experience, proven organizational record of success, excellent communication skills, team oriented and strong references.
