DIRECTOR, MEDICINE CLINICS, 1ST SHIFT*
Has operational responsibility for all aspects of the Medicine Clinics and related diagnostic and treatment areas as well as services such as scheduling. Responsible for directing the operation of the Clinics by providing leadership to ensure delivery of patient centered services in collaboration with the physician group and hospital leadership team and in accordance with the Hospital's objectives, policies and procedures. Serves as the operational leader with the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Medicine Medical Leader(s). Develops and implements internal and external strategies for service line management in collaboration with the Patient Care Services Medicine Director(s) and physician leaders. Provides oversight of all related initiatives.
Clinical education, clinical experience or leadership experience in Practice Management, Internal Medicine, Family Practice or a Medicine Specialty is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree is required. A Master's Degree in business or healthcare administration or a license as a PA, NP, RN, or MD is preferred. 5-10 years supervision & management experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership required. Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills are required to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
