Sharing a campus with a community based hospital we are able to provide the tools and resources care givers need to excel in helping our patients live healthier, fuller lives.

Imagine Yourself:

Greeting and registering the patient, completing all
necessary forms, obtaining demographic and insurance
information from the patient.

Verifying insurance coverage, collecting co-pays,
deductibles, and previous balances; posting payments
and updating on-line all registration and insurance
information as necessary.

Answering the telephone, screening calls and taking
messages from patients.

Scheduling patients according to the physician protocol.

Working with the physicians and other staff to
acquire additional information to achieve encounter
document completeness.

Sorting and filing material correctly by
alpha system.

Preparing charts, checking if authorization is in place
for office visit and all proper insurance forms are
prepared for the provider.

This is a Float position and must be available to travel between Burlington, Kenosha and Lake Geneva.

General Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience using mainframe or personal
computer applications including Microsoft Office &
Windows application is required.
One year customer service and /or receptionist
experience, including both direct customer contact
and contact via telephone. Must have the ability
to speak clearly and concisely.
Must have the ability to read and understand
verbal and written instructions.

Desired Qualifications
One year of experience working in a Healthcare
setting, including an understanding of medical terminology
and the medical insurance process is preferred.
Experience using basic office equipment, i.e., fax machine,
and copy machine.
