Survey Sampling Statistician

The Survey Research Center (SRC) at ICF International is currently seeking a mid-level sampling statistician to conduct sampling, variance estimation and weighting for large, complex survey research projects. The candidate should possess a Master's or doctoral degree in statistics or related discipline. Strong quantitative, writing and communication skills are essential. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA headquarters.Specific Responsibilities:Construct sample frames for various types of sample surveys Design and implement sampling, weighting, imputation and variance estimation procedures for large-scale survey projects Conduct questionnaire design Conduct analysis of survey data Prepare project reports Prepare sampling and analysis sections of technical proposals Develop written products and discuss issues of sampling, variance estimation and weighting with other team members.Key Qualifications:Master's or PhD in statistics, biostatistics, or survey methodology Expert in at least one common statistical language, strong in SAS, familiar with several more statistical languages Superior general problem solving Strong communication skills ICF International offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary.
