Sr. Software Engineer
The current position is with Ideal Innovations, Inc. (I3) and contracted to the Department of Defense. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: perform development/integration of biometric systems. Formulate and/or define solution scope and objectives based on user needs; prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written; analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation as necessary. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer oriented, pay attention to detail and possess good decision-making abilities. Knowledge of smartcards is a plus.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
· Knowledge and capability for software development and system integration.
· Detailed knowledge of C++.
· Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidates with current clearance preferred.
· Must be willing to relocate or commute to Springfield, VA.
