Job Responsibilities:

 

Candidate will be supporting the nationwide mission of the a federal law enforcement agency, Office of Security Contracts by procurring and administering:

-  IDIQ Equipment contracts for the protection of the 12 circuit courts and judges

-  IDIQ Service contracts for the hiring of court security contracts

-  IDIQ Service contacts for the protection of high profile US Attorneys 

 

Other contracting life cycle services:Assists in the preparation of solicitations including formation of Statements of Work. Assists in the evaluation of proposals.  Helps to evaluate or monitor contract performances to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contract, and compliance to contractual obligations. Analyzes request for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules. Arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts.  May provide alternative methods of dispute resolution. Responsible for the award, administration, and termination of contracts for services, equipment and supplies. Assists in the preparation of Statements of Work and solicitations. Prepares pre-solicitation documents. Analyzes the elements of cost in contractor proposal and recommend competitive range determinations. Serves on the Negotiation Team. Assists in the planning of Negotiation Strategy. Negotiates contract modifications. Prepares responses to procurement related inquiries from private industry and other Government Offices. Must be able to pass a federal background check (NAC)

 

Knowledge Required:(GS13/14 equivelance - 10 to 12 years) of applied Federal Acquisition Regulation application experience Knowledge of negotiation techniques Knowledge of contract methods and contract types in order to carryout pre-award and post-award procurement actions. Knowledge of Contract Administration and Termination techniques. Knowledge of techniques of source selection.
