Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Editorial/Writing Secret Cleared Jr. Technical Writer Our client is a large government integrator who is in immediate need of a Jr. Technical Writer to support one of their government clients in Sterling, VA. This is a 6 month opportunity with the possibility to go long term. This position has the potential to be temp-perm. Consultant will provide quality control and technical writing and editing for all documentation produced. He/She will ensure the grammatical and factual accuracy of all ISIV products and the documents’ timely delivery to the client. Additional responsibilities include: managing the day-to-day operations of the Unit, including processing memoranda, answering telephones, and escorting visitors, editing, proofreading, and reviewing all documentation written by ISIV. The technical documents range from analyst reports of client security position to ISIV developer documents demonstrating the processes associated with new tools and systems developed by the Unit for their client. Qualified candidates need to currently have an active DOD Secret clearance because he/she will have to be processed for a DEA clearance which takes up to 2 weeks.
