Job description:Efficiently and effectively functions as a Release Lead by coordinating project resources, monitoring project tasks, and executing the project schedule.Creates and maintains project schedules using MS Project by identify activities, sequencing work, assigning resources, and recording planned effort, actual effort, durations, and progress to completion.Demonstrate an understanding of the clients’ business and IT needs as well as their IT standards for software, hardware, and documentation (the lifecycle).Comply with quality standards imposed by ICE OCIO, ITESS, and the project.Creates and maintains software project documentation including System Lifecycle Methodology documentation (project plans, requirements documents, requirements traceability documents, and deployment plans).Creates and maintains program process documentation (including standard operating procedures, checklists, templates, etc.)Creates meeting agendas and minutes for project meetings, client meetings, and other key project interactions.Create and maintain requirements in the project requirements tool and verify the completeness, clarity, and specifications with the client.Help define the project scope, plans, and deliverables by working with the Technical Lead, Operations Lead and Project Manager.Interface directly with the client by coordinating and facilitating client requirements gathering sessions, design reviews, status meetings, system walkthroughs, etc.Interface with the development staff, testing staff, configuration management staff, security staff, quality staff, and project leadership.Interfaces with staff from other systems, other contractors, and government agencies.Assist project leadership with development of estimates for project work packages, releases, and major initiatives.Assist with help desk ticket resolution.Work independently or in collaboration with others to achieve project milestones and cost objectives.Communicates with other staff to notify them of development milestones (ready for builds, completion of TPR rework, etc).Demonstrate good record keeping through updates to the system change requests (requirements) and other release documentationReport on status by providing thorough, clear, and detailed information as well as identifying issues that require escalation.Research system problems detected during environment setup, development, testing, implementation, and production to help quickly identify and fix the root cause of the problem so that there is minimal impact to the project schedule and the users.Review and provide input on system designs to ensure the designs fulfill the system requirements. Completes all corporate-required training and project-required training on time.Completes all corporate data calls on time.Completes timecards daily.Completes other tasks as assigned. Job essential functions:This person works with the Operations Lead, Technical Lead, and Project Manager to develop and manage requirements.
