We are currently seeking talented individuals to recruit for a wide variety of positions from administrative to technical to scientific, both exempt and non-exempt classifications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of recruiting highly technical candidates with a military background in a DoD setting including familiarity with the positions and requirements unique to a government contractor. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, collaborative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Department of Defense contractor environment and be well-versed in all aspects of recruiting including:
· Full life cycle corporate recruiting for technical positions primarily within the Washington, DC Metropolitan area
· Partnering with hiring managers to obtain full position requirements
· Drafting and editing detailed position descriptions
· Developing sourcing strategies for these needs
· Effectively utilizing sourcing tools to include internal referrals, internet search engines, technical job fairs and online/print advertisements
· Sourcing and pre-qualifying candidates through telephone and email communication
· Scheduling and conducting formal interviews
· Establishing and using non-traditional, innovative recruiting methods to source candidates for difficult to fill positions
· Tracking and weekly reporting on recruiting activities and results
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years technical recruiting experience, preferably in the Department Of Defense recruiting candidates in the field of Forensics, Biometrics, Science & Technology and Intelligence. Prefer experience recruiting cleared candidates. Government contract recruiting experience a plus.
Requires:
· Strong background in selecting and maximizing sourcing techniques to include internal referrals, internet search engines, print advertising and technical job fairs
· An understanding of security clearances and experience recruiting cleared candidates for positions requiring all levels of clearances
· Knowledge of relevant employment laws, regulations and OFCCP recordkeeping requirements
· Experience with HR hiring practices and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
· Thorough understanding of creative sourcing, cold calling, networking, and unique recruitment techniques
· Excellent written and verbal skills are necessary
· Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and the HR team
· A schedule that can accommodate entrepreneurial hours as needed
