Physician - Psychiatrist

Maxim Government Services (MGS), a division of Maxim Healthcare Services, is currently in search of a Psychiatrist for a full time employment opportunity at a Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia.  The Psychiatrist is needed to perform psychological assessment, evaluation, and treatment of Veteran patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Substance Abuse / Addiction.  Both full time and part time assignments are available.

Qualifications:

 Must hold active, unrestricted license to practice in any U.S. state Have a professional degree  Provide evidence of current privileges (if applicable) Board eligible within 3 years of fellowship/residency (board certified is preferred)

Duties:

 Admission/Discharge, treatment and professional direction of Inpatient care (acute and specialized units: Substance Abuse), Outpatient care, psychiatric consultations, rounds, attending treatment teams on Inpatient Units Performs examinations, diagnosis, therapeutic treatment, be effective in handling emergencies, patient management, and documentation in patient records

 

Workday: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
