Operations Contract Manager
The Operations, Intelligence and Security Business Unit currently has an opening for a Operations Contracts Manager in our Virginia Beach, VA office. The candidate will be responsible for managing the provision of contract support to an Operation with annual revenues in excess of $130M. These duties include hands-on responsibility and oversight of a team that provides cradle-to-grave administration of government and commercial contracts. Review and analyze contractual documents to determine obligations. Analyze RFP, participate in bid teams, responsible for business volumes/cost proposals, review BOEs, and prepare the associated terms & conditions. Conduct contract negotiations and administration of FFP, FFP/ LOE, CPFF, and T&M contracts, identify contract risk, and prepare/negotiate NDAs and Teaming Agreements. Assure compliance with SAIC policies and procedures. Regularly interact with the organization's Business Unit staff (including Pricing, Procurement, Business Development, and Project Control) as well as the technical staff. Identify all problems and resolve/mitigate in a timely manner. Must have the ability to help develop and implement strategic business decisions, effectively manage and train the Operation support team, and work independently. Have experience in dealing with a wide variety of contracts and business issues within Federal Government and commercial contracts. Excellent written and oral communications skills are required. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or related field) and 8+ years of experience Desired Skills: Secret or higher Security Clearance. Familiar and experienced with SAIC policies and procedures. Ability to draft contractual requirements and/or terms and conditions.
