Mobile County Assistant Veterans Service Officer

THE ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS, an equal opportunity employer, announces recruitment for a Mobile County Assistant Veterans Service Officer. 

 

To qualify for this position, the applicant must be a resident of and qualified voter in Mobile County as well as an honorably discharged veteran with a minimum of 60 days active military service in a wartime period.

 

Key responsibilities and duties include advising all county organizations on veterans programs and assisting all county veterans and their eligible dependents in obtaining all state and federal benefits to which they are entitled as well as other activities as directed by the District Manager and Commissioner.
