Job Title: Millwright

 

Job Summary:

 

Candidate will be responsible for installing new machines or heavy equipment, dismantling and installing machines or heavy equipment when changes in the plant layout are required.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

§ Planning and laying out work

§ Interpreting blueprints or other specifications using a variety of hand tools and rigging

§ Making standard shop computations relating to stresses, strength of materials and centers of gravity

§ Aligning and balancing equipment, selecting standard tools, equipment and parts to be used

§ Installing and maintaining in good order power transmission equipment such as drives and speed reducers

 

Qualifications:

 

Must have a minimum of 5 years related experience.  Requires a rounded training and experience in the trade acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
